WELCOME AND WHO WE ARE Founded in Texas in 1944, BCFS is a system of non-profit health and human service corporations annually serving more than 350,000 persons domestically and internationally.
Our Emergency Services Division maintains a multi-disciplined all-hazards Incident Management Team of more than 180 highly-trained and experienced emergency management personnel throughout the nation. Each responder is trained and certified in National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS).
Expertise includes emergency management, public health, emergency medicine, fire/rescue, law enforcement, logistics, information technology, communications, mental health, social work, military operations, and finance as well as a host of other professional and trade skills.
